NWCDC's Commitment to Civil Rights

NorthWest Communities Development Corporation (NWCDC) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of its services on the basis of race, color or national origin, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.

Title VI/ADA Complaint Procedure

Any person who believes that he or she has been subjected to discrimination under Title VI on the basis of race, color or national origin may file a Title VI complaint with NWCDC within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination.

The written, signed complaint should include:

  • Your name, address and telephone number.
  • How, why, and when you believe you were discriminated against.
  • Include as much specific, detailed information as possible.
  • The names of any people, if known, who NWCDC can contact to support or to clarify your allegations.
  • NWCDC will provide appropriate assistance to complainants who are limited in their ability to communicate in English.

Title VI Resources for Subrecipients

As the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration funds for the region, NWCDC is responsible for ensuring that its subrecipients comply with Title VI general reporting requirements outlined in FTA’s Circular 4702.1B. To that end, following are resources to assist subrecipients in developing and implementing a Title VI Program:
